DESCRIPTION:Date: Monday\, 23 March 2026\nLocation: Julius-Kühn-Hörsaal E.02 (Heide Süd Campus)\, Theodor-Lieser-Strasse 9\, Halle (Saale)  \n\n\nSchedule: Download v260316 \n\n\n\nRegister here!\n\n\n\nThe internal retreat is open to SNP2Prot members only and will take place at the lecture hall\, Theodor-Lieser-Straße 9. \nDuring the day\,\n• Marcel Quint will provide a brief update on the current status of the CRC\n• Prospective new project leaders will present insights into their current and planned research\n• Recipients of start-up funding will introduce their project ideas to the CRC community (submission deadline extended to 26 February)\n• ECRs will present the progress of their projects in a poster session\n• PIs will meet for a confidential internal PI meeting \nIn addition\, there will be dedicated time for discussion and networking in the afternoon\, followed by an evening event. \nThe retreat will continue together with CRC 1644 on Tuesday and Wednesday\, 24 & 25 March –> Joint Retreat \n\n

DESCRIPTION:Date: Tuesday & Wednesday\, 24 & 25 March 2026\nLocation: Von-Seckendorff-Platz 1 (Heide Süd Campus)\, 06120 Halle (Saale) \n\n\nSchedule: Download v260316 \n\n\n\nRegister here!\n\n\n\nOn Tuesday and Wednesday\, we will spend the retreat together with the CRC 1644 ‘Phenotypic plasticity in plants’ (University of Potsdam) at Von-Seckendorff-Platz 1. \nThe joint retreat will focus on scientific exchange and the identification of synergies between the two CRCs and will include: \n\nAn introduction to the scientific core of both CRCs by the speakers\nPresentations of representative projects from both CRCs by PIs\nA joint poster session presenting all projects (by ECRs)\nDiscussion groups addressing (1) Analytical and methodological interfaces between the two CRCs (Discussion Round – Focus Groups); (2) Concrete opportunities for joint activities (Discussion Round – Joint Initiatives)\n\nAll participants are warmly invited to attend the joint evening event on Tuesday to further strengthen connections between the two consortia.
