Three excellent projects have been awared with the SNP2Prot Start-up funding

The DFG-funded CRC1664 “Plant Proteoform Dicersity -SNP2Prot”, proudly announces the awarding of its start-up funding initiative. This program invited postdoctoral researchers and doctoral candidates to submit their own innovative research proposals, providing a platform to develop and pursue independent ideas. The initiative is specifically designed to support early-career scientists in shaping their individual research profiles and advancing their scientific independence.

Following a highly competitive selection process, the CRC Steering Committee awarded a total of more than €30,000 for the year 2026 to three outstanding projects that demonstrated exceptional originality, feasibility, and scientific impact. We warmly congratulate Aleksandr Zlobin (UL Leipzig), Jana Baradei (MLU Halle) & Diana Paola Ochoa Vásquez (IPB Halle), and Paul T. Rohn (IPB Halle) on their success and look forward to seeing the exciting developments that will emerge from their work.
